June 13 Live screening of Romeo and Juliet opera in Los Alcázares
The performance by the Opera of Paris at the Teatro Real in Madrid can be seen at the Town Hall of Los Alcázares
It’s a busy week for classical music lovers in the Mar Menor town of Los Alcázares, and the latest in the Intermezzo cycle of free concerts on Sunday 14th June is preceded the day before in the Salon de Plenos of the Town Hall with a screening of Charles Gounod’s opera “Romeo and “Juliet” which is being transmitted live to a series of venues all over the country.
The opera is being performed as part of Opera Week at the Teatro Real in Madrid and features the Opéra de Paris production Gounod’s opera, which is based on the tragedy written by William Shakespeare. The performance starts at 19.30 and entrance to the Town Hall is free of charge.
