July 5 Monte Arabí under the stars
A moonlight walk at the magical mountain of Monte Arabí in Yecla
Take a special evening stroll around the legendary mountain of Monte Arabí, the site of many local legends and myths as well as unique prehistoric rock paintings and mysterious petroglyphs (strange forms carved into the rock surface), on this special guided visit setting out from the town of Yecla at 19.30.
This is a chance to experience the atmosphere, sights and sounds which have made the mountain such a special and revered place for many centuries, as well as enjoying the cool evening air of the countryside of northern Murcia!
The visit is expected to last approximately 3 hours and is far from being a strenuous hike - in fact, as well as sturdy footwear and drinking water, participants are advised to bring along a mat to sit or lie on, along with a torch, a jacket or sweater and a snack.
The starting point is the roundabout on Ronda Norte in Yecla, alongside Bodegas Castaño - click here for map. The group will then drive to the mountain in convoy - make sure you have motor transport!
Reservations will be made available online here aprroximately 3 weeks prior to the tour.
Observaciones: Hay que disponer de vehículo propio para el desplazamiento hasta el Monte Arabí. Se recomienda llevar
