July 5 Local artists display their talents at the wine museum in Jumilla
Tras la Lente y el Pincel at the Museo del Vino in Jumilla
An event named “Tras la Lente y el Pincel” (Behind the Lens and the Brush), featuring the work of talented local artists, is being held on Friday 5th July at the Jumilla Wine Museum, with the main protagonists being accompanied by local musicians.
Organized by Pablo Alonso and Antonio Tárraga, the evening begins at 20.30 with a screening of the short film “El Chanchullo”, which was shot entirely in Jumilla and is directed and performed by youngsters from the municipality. The film is to be screened twice, with admission free of charge.
Next on the menu is an open-air exhibition of artwork in the museum gardens, including photography, paintings and ceramics, while the music is live throughout the soirée and, as one might expect, wine is provided by local bodegas.
For more information about visiting Jumilla, including what's on, local news and all of the bodegas on the Jumilla wine route, visit the home page of Jumilla Today.
