July 31 Free concert by Malafé in Lorca
The music begins at 21.30 in the Plaza Calderón in Lorca
The “Lorca Emergente” series of open-air concerts featuring talented young bands comes to an end for 2026 on 31st July with a show by Malafé in the Plaza Calderón, beginning at 21.30.
This is the first time that a predominantly local music cycle has featured a guest artist, and Lorca is pleased to welcome Malafé as they stop off prior to beginning a national tour. The indie band was formed in Murcia in 2022 and deals in alternative contemporary rock, emotional and energetic with an intriguing blend of guitars and synthesizers. Their first album, “Volver en caso de emergencia”, places them at the forefront of the Spanish indie scene, while tow group members are also in the well-known band Funambulista, who performed at the Movistar Arena in Madrid in 2023.
The 2026 Lorca Emergente concerts are organized by the Town Hall of Lorca and Hostelor, the association of bar and restaurant owners in the municipality.
