July 3 and 4 Flamenco nights in San Pedro del Pinatar
The Vuelta a las Raíces festival includes a performance by star flamenco guitarist Tomatito
The “Vuelta a las Raíces” flamenco festival in San Pedro del Pinatar, which is organized as a tribute to the late great Camarón de la Isla, is taking place on the evenings of 3rd and 4th July with two events, one at the Teatro Geli Albaladejo and the other at the municipal fairground and events venue (click for map).
The event brings together representatives of one of the most typical brands of culture in southern Spain, including elements of dance, music, guitar and songg, and the first evening at the Teatro Geli Albaladejo is a free “Trasnoche Flamenco” featuring percussionist Alejandro Solano, one of the brightest new stars on the current flamenco scene. The performance begins at 21.30.
On Saturday 4th July the music moves outdoors to the fairground, where at 21.30 a grand night of entertainment includes Juanfran Carrasco, El Yiyo and “Tomatito”. Tickets Will be made available shortly online here.
