July 29 Full moon walk to the coves beyond Bolnuevo on the Mazarron coast
A 9-kilometre hike as the moonlight shimmers in the Bay of Mazarrón
Taking advantage of the light of the full moon on 29st July the tourist office of Mazarrón is holding a free guided hike to the Playa del Hondón and the coves of Bolnuevo, starting as the sun goes down at 21.00 and ending four hours later after a walk of some 9 kilometres.
The starting point of the route will be communicated to participants after they register – registration is available online here.
It is likely that the evening will be far from dark as the moonlight reflects off the Mediterranean in the Bay of Mazarrón, but nonetheless walkers are advised to bring a torch and head-torch as well as adequate footwear and Nordic walking poles. At least a litre of drinking water is also recommended and it should be borne in mind that the terrain is not flat!
Dogs are not permitted.
Further information is available from the tourist office in Puerto de Mazarrón (Plaza Toneleros, telephone 968 594426, email oficinaturismomazarron@gmail.com).
