Durme at the Hotel Balneario de la Encarnación in Los Alcázares

The Hotel Balneario de la Encarnación in Los Alcázares is the longest-running hotel still in business in the whole of the Region of Murcia and one of the most traditional events in the Costa Cálida is the cycle of summer musical evenings which are held in the beautiful interior patio garden of the building on the shore of the Mar Menor.

In 2026 the third concert of the summer is given by Durme, a group of four Spanish musicians whose interest in music begins with the melting pot of cultures (Moorish, Christian and Jewish) which co-existed in Spain before the late 15^th century and whose music has survived and developed over the last 500 years. Their repertoire ranges from Jewish lullabies to the songs of the Balkans, where many Sephardic Jews fled following their expulsion from Spain in 1492, and the songs dating right back to the 11^th century in the Moorish kingdom of al-Ándalus.

The concert begins at 20.00 and the hotel and rental apartments are sure to be packed for the evening!
