

Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
July 2025 Verano en Danza, dance events in Yecla
7 evenings of dance in the bull ring of Yecla followed by the International Bands Festival
Following a tradition established over the last few years the Town Hall of Yecla in northern Murcia is holding a season of dance events during July at the open-air venue of the local bull ring, featuring performances by the most popular dance academies in the municipality.
The schedule for the month is as follows:
ontará con las actuaciones de danza de las academias de baile de nuestro municipio, Crearte Studio, Lucasport, Estudio de Danza Conchi Bañón, Endanza, Infinity, Paso a Paso y Cris Dance, quienes para el concejal de Festejos, José Antonio Marín, son “el alma mater de este ciclo de verano y las que hacen posible estas noches en la Plaza de Toros”, además de la actuación de la Banda Sinfónica de la Asociación de Amigos de la Música de Yecla.
Thursday July 10 – “Luz entre sombras” by the Crearte Studio academy at 21.30.
Friday July 11 - “Noche en el Museo” by Lucasport at 21.30.
Saturday July 12 - “Ballerina” by the Estudio de Danza Conchi Bañón at 21.30.
Sunday July 13 - “Preparados, listos… ¡a bailar!” by the Endanza academy at 21.300.
Friday July 18 – “Teka” by the Infinity academy at 21.30.
Saturday July 19 – “Recap” by the Paso a Paso academy at 21.30.
Sunday July 20 - “El legado del tiempo” by Cris Dance at 21.30, followed by a performance by the
Wednesday July 23 – The annual international bands festival with the Royal Band of the Netherlands and the Banda de la Asociación de Amigos de la Música de Yecla at 20.30.
Tickets for all these events are priced at 6 euros and are available online here, as well as at the Teatro Concha Segura box office between 19.30 and 21.00 on 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th and 22nd July.
So if you’re exploring the north of the Region of Murcia, with its majestic landscapes and world-famous wines, leave room to take in a little evening entertainment!
