

Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
July 2025 Cultural events scheduled in the town of Yecla
Music, dance and cinema at the church of San Francisco in Yecla this July
The program of cultural events organized by the Town Hall of Yecla this July consists of a selection of music, cinema and dance outside the church of San Francisco, all evenings beginning in the cool of the evening at 22.00.
Among the highlights is an evening of popular music with Los Ruiseñores (who celebrate their 65th anniversary this year!), presenting a special concert entitled “Seguimos compartiendo emociones” on Thursday 17th July.
Eight days later on 25th July it’s the turn of Los Amigos del Chete, while in terms of dance and more modern music the starts of the program are the Asociación Flamenca Olé with their Spanish dance show “Sensaciones en el alma” on Friday 18th July.
On 26th July, Alicante artist and composer Elia presents her fusion of pop and electronic music under the direction of Juan Saurín.
In addition, three films are to be screened (in Spanish) at the Cine Pya during the summer: “Te estoy amando locamente” on Wednesday 9th July, “Los Tarantos” on 30th July and “Super Mario Bros” on Wednesday 23rd July.
Tickets for all events are priced at just 3 euros and can be bought at the start of the event or at the box office of the Teatro Concha Segura between 19.30 and 21.00 on 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th and 22nd July.
So if you’re exploring the north of the Region of Murcia, with its majestic landscapes and world-famous wines, leave room to take in a little evening entertainment!
