July 15 to August 15 Open-air evening entertainment for all the family at Las Fuentes del Marqués in Caravaca
“Reinas” offers a great night out for all ages in the main beauty spot of the city of Caravaca
The Las Fuentes del Marqués beauty spot in Caravaca de la Cruz is once again hosting evenings of theatrical entertainment for all the family this summer, with an immersive experience entitled “Reinas” (Queens) being performed four times a week from the middle of July to the middle of August.
This is just one of around 100 activities events scheduled over the summer in and around Caravaca, but it is without doubt one of the highlights: the previous two seasons have proved enormously popular with both locals and visitors as they enjoy the cool evening air among the trees and water features of Las Fuentes del Marqués. The event combines the entertainment of the show itself with the natural beauty and sustainability of the park, and “Reinas” continues the thread of its two forerunners, based on the Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland.
This time the offering is a compilation of the classic queens and princesses of Disney films, presented in humorous and contemporary fashion, and the event promises to be a delight for visitors of all ages!
Performances are on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 22.00 and tickets are available online here at 6 euros for 3- to 5-year-olds, 11 euros for 6- to 18-year-olds and 13 euros for adults. Those with tickets are asked to arrive at the Torreón in the park at 21.30.
Bookings may also be made by telephone on 623 807480 and if there are any tickets left they will be on sale at 21.30 at the Torreón.
For more local news, events and visiting information contact the local tourist office (telephone 968 702424) or go to the home page of Caravaca Today.
