

Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
July 13 Summer Carnival in Los Narejos
A grand Carnival parade precedes the late-night party in the Nuevos Jardines of Los Narejos
The seaside resort of Los Narejos on the shore of the Mar Menor is holding its 3rd annual Summer Carnival on Sunday 13th July, an event full of music, colour and plumed headgear as well as a grand parade ending in the Nuevos Jardines.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
21.00: The grand parade sets out with music and dance groups from Punta Calera, proceeding along Avenida Marqués de Rozalejo and Avenida de la Constitución to Avenida Mariano Ballester.
22.00: The party continues in the Nuevos Jardines (behind the Centro de Seguridad in Avenida Mariano Ballester), wiith costume events and music procided by a “Show DJ”.
Those wishing to take part in the parade as a group should present their applications before 4th July through the “Sede Electrónica” of the town hall (click here) to the Registro General del Ayuntamiento.
