July 13 A free open-air Nocturnal Serenade in Puerto de Mazarron
The Orquesta Cambra Terrassa 48 at the Punto El Castellar in the Mar de Papeles season
The free outdoor summer Mares de Papel arts and music season continues on 13th July with “Una Serenata Nocturna”, in which the Orquesta Cambra Terrassa 48 present a musical style which was popular especially in the times of Mozart. It matches the occasion perfectly, being the kind of music which is conceived as a light accompaniment for al fresco evening soirées, with flighty tunes which still sound magical today.
The small orchestra take us back to the peak of the Baroque period in Vienna and Hungary, adding in melodies from Scandinavia and paying tribute to the Bohemian spirit which inspired Freddie Mercury among others!
The concert begins at 22.00 on Saturday 13th July at the headland of El Castellar, at the western end of Playa de Bahía (click for map).
Note: all events in the Mares de Papel season are free of charge, with no need for prior booking. However, space is limited and an early arrival is recommended: entry is permitted from half an hour before the advertised start time.
No further admissions will be allowed 15 minutes after the events start. Once inside, eating, drinking and smoking are not permitted, and pets are not allowed to enter.
