San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin are among the best-loved and most admired artists to make repeat appearances at the San Javier Jazz Festival over the years and are now presenting their new album “Brasil”, recorded in Sao Paulo in 2023, with guest artists such as Ivan Lins, Celso Fonseca and Tatiana Parra.
Lee Ritenour has recorded as many as 45 albums, won a Grammy and been nominated 16 times, and has worked with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Pink Floyd, B.B. King and Tony Bennett while becoming one of the best jazz guitarists of all time. Dave Grusin is a genius at the piano and as co-founder of the prestigious GRP record label has won 7 Grammy awards and composed the soundtracks of films such as “The Graduate”, “The Three Days of the Condor”, “Champion ”, “Tootsie”, “On Golden Pond”, “The Fabulous Baker Boys” and the Oscar-winning “A Place Called Miracle”.
Their special guests are Brazilian star Ivan Lins, a wonderful singer, pianist and composer, and the great virtuoso of the chromatic harmonica Grégoire Maret. Together, the artists are among the best musicians on the planet, a dream for any lover of good music.
