July 11 A night of stargazing and ancient myths in the Caravaca village of La Encarnación
A great evening out for all the family in the historic setting of the ruined Roman sanctuary
2026 is a big year for those interested in astronomy, with a solar eclipse being visible in Spain on 12th August, but apart from that there are many other events to look forward to, and this is a chance to enjoy a magical night out with the family at this “Myths and Stars” event at the archaeological sites of the 1st-century Roman sanctuary in La Encarnación, deep in the countryside of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The experts of Astroversia take you on a journey of discovery, both of the stars themselves and of the ancient myths which grew up around them, explaining some of the mysteries of old civilizations and of the cosmos.
The event, at which children are welcome, begins at 21.30 with booking available online here at 18 euros (13 euros for children aged 5 to 12).
