January 31 Lost Illusions film screening in Jumilla
The 2021 cinema version with a cast including Gérard Depardieu at the wine museum of Jumilla
The 2021 film version of the classic novel Illusions Perdues (Lost Illusions) by Honoré de Balzac, published in three parts between 1837 and 1843, is being screened at the Wine Museum of Jumilla on Saturday 31st January.
The plot concerns the desperate struggle for social status in 19th century Paris, and stars Benjamin Voisin, Cécile de France, Vincent Lacoste, Xavier Dolan and Gérard Depardieu, among others. The screening begins at 20.30.
