Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

January 23 to February 8 Exhibiton of paintings by José Luis Marco Quiles in Yecla
Mi Pueblo y Su Fiesta at the Casa Municipal de Cultura de Yecla
The opening is being held on Friday 23rd January at 20.00 of an exhibition of oil paintings by local cardiologist and artist José Luis Marco Quiles entitled "Mi pueblo y su fiesta", a collection of richly coloured and textured images depicting the town of Yecla, its landmarks and open spaces and in particular its fiestas, especially those in early December to celebrate the Virgen del Castillo.
The exhibition can be visited at the Casa Municipal de Cultura in Calle España (click for map) on weekdays between 19.00 and 21.00 and at weekends from 11.00 to 13.00 (at other times bookings are required: please call 968 790901 on weekdays between 9.00 and 13.00).
