January 18 Race up to the top of Cabezo de la Jara in Puerto Lumbreras
Trail running, cycling and hiking events in the mountains of south-west Murcia
The 11th annual race up to the top of the mountain known as Cabezo de la Jara in Puerto Lumbreras is being held on Sunday 18th January, with runners, walkers and riders setting out from 9.00 onwards.
The 13-km hike begins at 9.00 while the trail run starts an hour later, the MTB event at 10.30 and the e-Bike race at 11.00, with registration costing 12 euros for all events and available until midnight on 16th January online here. Bus transport back to the town centre is provided from the Casa Amarilla and refreshments are to be served to all competitors at 13.00 at the Polideportivo.
