January 10 Music from the cinema at an eagerly awaited concert in Yecla

The music of John Williams and Hans Zimmer at the Teatro Concha Segura in Yecla

The latest concert offered by the Banda Sinfónica of the Asociación de Amigos de la Música and Cine Club Odeón in Yecla is taking place on Saturday 10th January under the title of “Cine y Música: Los 7 Magníficos” and features music from seven movie soundtracks.

Each piece of music is accompanied by image from the film in which it was first heard and the music was all composed by two of the greats of their field, John Williams and Hans Zimmer. This gives the audience to hear again the well-loved music from movies such as E.T., Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator and The Last Samurai.

This concert hopes to build on the great success of a similar event last year and tickets are on sale online here at 6 euros – any left over will be made available at the box office of the Teatro Concha Segura on Thursday and Friday evening between 19.30 and 21.00, as well as at 19.00 on the day of the concert (an hour before the curtain rises).
