Inauguration of Al Kasar Shopping Centre Condado de Alhama Golf Resort
Al Kasar Shopping Centre on the Condado de Alhama Golf Resort reopens with an Ibizan Fair
Over the weekend of June 21 to 23, the new project of the Al Kasar Shopping Centre was reopened and inaugurated, with an exciting Ibizan Fair including music, dancing, acrobatics, characters and fire! (See image gallery below).
Alhama de Murcia Mayor, Maria Canovas, cut the ribbon to open the centre, joined by councillors Francisco Martinez, Daniel Ruano, Lali Salas and Pedro José Lopez, were present at this special event.
The project is the result of the hard work of three entrepreneurs based in Lorca, Alfonso Luis Avellaneda, Sonia Aznar and Juan Pividal, from the company Activos Alkasar. They have acquired the mall recently and the maintenance and lighting work has already begun. Plus, they have plans to use the central lagoon and turn it into a Caribbean-style space with sun loungers to relax and enjoy.
The opening, which lasted all weekend, featured an Ibizan market on the lake, shows, acrobatics, dancing and the “Moonlight” concert in Clover Condado.
A quote from Alhama de Murcia Council added, “We support this initiative which is much needed to bring life to this urbanisation.”
