The famously foul-mouthed chef is opening a restaurant in the Balearic Islands
There’s big new for foodies and fans of fiery TV chefs as Gordon Ramsay is bringing his world-famous Hell's Kitchen restaurant to Europe for the very first time, and he has chosen none other than
Ibiza as the launch pad.
On Monday June 9, the doors will officially open at The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel in Playa d'en Bossa. This exciting new spot is a joint venture between Gordon Ramsay Restaurants and Palladium Hotel Group, promising to deliver a one-of-a-kind dining and entertainment experience that is every bit as bold as its name suggests.
Expect a menu packed with Ramsay classics like scallops, lobster risotto, beef wellington and the famous sticky toffee pudding. But there will also be local touches celebrating the flavours of Spain, including Basque-style cheesecake, grilled sea sass and spicy hellfire prawns.
Chef Ramsay is clearly excited to be adding Ibiza to his growing restaurant empire.
"I couldn't be more excited to bring Hell's Kitchen to Ibiza this season. Its incredible energy, vibrant nightlife and world-class cuisine make Ibiza the perfect destination to deliver the unique Hell's Kitchen experience. I'm looking forward to introducing a new level of gastronomy to the island, offering Ibizans and international visitors alike this very special concept. A blend of delicious flavors and cocktails, exceptional entertainment and the unforgettable atmosphere that has made Hell's Kitchen the global sensation that it is await you in Hell's Kitchen," he said in a recent interview.
The new restaurant will form part of The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, a rebranded version of the Ushuaïa Tower that now focuses on luxury and experience-led hospitality. With six restaurants and bars on site, it is shaping up to be one of the most exciting food destinations on the island.
Ana Morillo of Palladium Hotel Group shared her enthusiasm about the launch.
“We are delighted to partner with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants to bring the iconic Hell’s Kitchen experience to Europe for the first time. Its opening at The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, one of Palladium Hotel Group’s most significant launches this year, marks a milestone for us. With its dramatic flair, world-class food and the unmistakable Gordon Ramsay attitude, Hell’s Kitchen Ibiza is set to be one of the island’s most talked-about openings this year.
