February 28 St John’s Passion by Murani in Caravaca de la Cruz
A Lent performance in the magnificent Caravaca church of El Salvador
Two free concerts are being given over the weekend of 28th February and 1st March featuring the Passion of St John by composer Juan Miguel Murani, whose stellar musical career continues to this day.
The first of these concerts is on Saturday 28th February at the church of El Salvador in Caravaca de la Cruz, starting at 20.30. The music is played by musicians belonging to the Region of Murcia Symphony Orchestra (OSRM) accompanying the Vox Musicalis and Diatessaron choirs, all under the direction of conductor Tomeu Quetgles-Roca.
