A selection of modern classical pieces at the Teatro Cine Velasco in Alhama de Murcia
The band of the Ateneo Músico Cultural in Alhama de Murcia, under the baton of new musical director Arturo Reina, is holding this free concert on Saturday 28th February in the Teatro Cine Velasco with a programme consisting of the following pieces:
Rushmore by Alfred Reed (1981)
Von Weber’s clarinet concerto (soloist Diego Valero)
Arutunian’s trumpet comcerto (1950) (soloist Alejandro García)
Cesarini’s Dynamic Overture (1994)
Symphonic Dance by James Barnes (2005)
The concert begins at 20.00 and all are welcome.
