

Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
February 18 to March 14 Tapas and Wine Route in Yecla
DO Yecla wines accompany the finest tapas in Yecla at just 4 euros a time!
The Ruta del Vino of Yecla is holding its 12th annual Tapas and Wine route in the town from February 18 to March 14 with the participation of 14 local bars and restaurants competing to serve the best tapa accompanied by wine produced locally and sporting the DO Yecla label.
Passports for the route can be collected in any of the hostelries taking part, and stamps can be collected at the different venues during the 4 weeks. On the final day the event closes with a large open-air fair in the Parque de la Constitución, starting at 12.00 midday.
Each order of a tapa and a glass of wine is priced at 4 euros and the establishments taking part are Tejota; Sierra Cazorla; Kasa Ortega; Arrocería Brandy; Candilejas; Restaurante Aurora; Tapeo; Bar Gaggia; Olivo de Jaén; Barrabás; Pachamama; Peña Taurina; Tapeoteca amd Bar Ideal. The wines are provided by Bodegas La Purísima, Señorío de Barahonda, Bodegas Castaño, Bodegas Evine and Bodegas Conde de Montornés.
Prize draws are held on February 24 and March 3, 10 and 17 for those who have submitted their photos of the event at www.rutadelvinoyecla.com/concursotapayvino. Meanwhile, for those completing the route the prize draw includes vouchers for 200 euros and minor prizes of between 5 and 60 euros.
