February 1 Annual Carnival Duathlon in Aguilas
Adults and children race over testing distances as a curtain-raiser to the Carnival of Águilas
The annual “Carnaval de Águilas” duathlon competition is being held this year on Sunday February 1, starting outside the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena.
The main race takes place over distances of 5 km running, 20 km cycling and then another 2.5 km with running shoes on, but a variety of distances are included for different age groups. Start times are 8.30 for the men’s elite race, followed by the women’s elite and other categories during the morning.
