Explore the best of the Costa Blanca with Raquel Tours day trips
Alicante and Benidorm day trips are running every Sunday throughout the summer from the Murcia resorts
If you're based on one of the Murcia resorts this summer and looking for a brilliant day out without the hassle of driving, parking or planning,
Raquel Tours has two cracking options lined up. Their popular
Sunday day trips to Alicante and
Benidorm are running throughout July and August, and with door-to-door transport included from a wide range of resorts across the Costa Cálida, getting away really couldn't be simpler.
Alicante
Alicante is one of those cities that just has everything. Golden beaches, a stunning palm-lined promenade, a charming old town packed with tapas bars and terraces, and the dramatic Santa Bárbara Castle looming above it all.
There's no set itinerary, just a relaxed day in one of the Costa Blanca's most beautiful cities.
Alicante trips run on: July 5, July 19, August 2, August 16 and August 30.
Benidorm
Benidorm is one of the most iconic seaside destinations on the entire Spanish coast and a day there in the height of summer is hard to beat.
Levante Beach is one of the finest stretches of sand on the coast, the Mirador del Castillo viewpoint offers spectacular panoramic views over the Mediterranean and the Old Town, all narrow streets and sun-bleached buildings, is a lovely place to explore at a gentle pace.
Again, the day is yours to fill however you choose.
The details
Both trips cost just €29 for adults, which is exceptional value given that comfortable return transport from your resort is included in the price. Everyone who boards the bus receives a chilled bottle of water to start the day, and on the return journey there's a fun raffle with small prizes. The code on your snack bag packaging is your raffle number, so hold onto it.
Pick-up and drop-off points cover a wide range of resorts and locations across the Region of Murcia and Costa Cálida area. Full details are available on the Raquel Tours website, and if your resort isn't listed, it's worth getting in touch directly as alternative arrangements can sometimes be made with advance notice.
One thing that sets Raquel Tours apart is the range of languages their team works in. Tours are guided in English, Dutch, German, French, Italian and Spanish, so whatever your nationality, you'll feel right at home from the moment you step on the bus.
