With energy costs only set to increase, Go Solar can help you save up to 85% on your bills

Electricity prices double in Spain: Make the switch to solar to start saving today
Many households got a bit of a shock when they opened their January electricity bills only to discover that prices have shot up seemingly overnight. In fact, rates virtually doubled between Thursday and Friday (January 30 and 31) and electricity costs are now approaching a budget busting 100 euros per megawatt hour.

On Friday January 31, each unit of electricity you use will set you back a staggering 96.33 euros/MWh, an astonishing jump from the 42.40 euros/MWh seen at the beginning of the week.

The cheapest time slot to switch on your appliances this Friday will be between noon and 5pm, when prices will range from 39 to 45 euros, while the most expensive time slot is the early evening, when prices will peak at 184.48 euros from 7pm to 8pm.

Unfortunately, prices look set to continue rising in 2025, so there’s never been a better time to switch to solar. Solar panels enable you to cut your reliance on the electricity grid, saving you money and helping the planet at the same time.
