easyJet adds winter flights from UK to Murcia from October: These are the airports that will connect for the 2025-26 season
The UK airline has decided to extend two of its popular summer routes, offering new travel option through to March
UK airline easyJet has announced the introduction of winter flights between the UK and Murcia, providing a welcome boost for travellers between England and southeastern Spain.
Bristol to Murcia flights winter 2025
Firstly, there is the Bristol-Murcia route, which up until now has only operated during the summer months, will soon run twice weekly through the colder season as well.
Starting at the end of October and continuing until the end of March, these winter flights from Bristol Airport to the Region of Murcia International Airport are scheduled to operate on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.
This move is part of a wider decision by the airline to extend several seasonal routes across Europe into the winter period. These also include more connections between Bristol and the Spanish airports of Almería and Bilbao.
London Luton to Murcia flights winter 2025
In addition to these Bristol flights, there are reports from easyJet of a flight route from London Luton to Murcia ready to start in October 2025.
This would be a major addition to the Murcia winter flight schedule as up until now the only London airport from which easyJet has run flights to Murcia has been Gatwick.
These Luton-Murcia flights will also run twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout the low season 2025-26.
A spokesperson for easyJet said: “We are pleased to now be offering flights for the winter season to a number of our popular city routes from airports across the UK to Athens, Bilbao, Murcia, Bordeaux and Almería, providing even more choice for our customers throughout the winter.”
The new schedule is expected to benefit both holidaymakers and residents who travel regularly between the UK and Spain.
Flights are already available to book, and it is hoped that strong passenger demand could lead to further winter services being introduced in future seasons.
