Disposing of household waste in Los Alcázares
Easy ways to avoid leaving ugly waste in the streets and eliminate the risk of a possible fine!
The Town Hall of Los Alcázares is urging members of the public not to leave their unwanted household items and furniture out on the street next to the bins intended for daily use, but instead to take advantage of the free services provided to help dispose of objects such as old chairs, mattresses and garden waste.
There are two easy options made available by the council:
A free collection service operates from Monday to Thursday – all you have to do is call 968 170232 and council workers will come to your house to pick up the objects deemed surplus to requirements.
Alternatively, you can take things direct to the “Ecoparque Municipal”, which is located in the Parque Empresarial on the road to Mar Menor Golf Resort and Torre Pacheco. The facility is open every day of the week except Sundays from 10.00 to 14.00 and 16.00 to 19.30.
It’s not hard to comply with these recommendations and improve the general appearance of the town, and at the same time, by doing so you are avoiding the possible risk of a fine!
