December 7 Medieval tourney in Caravaca de la Cruz!
Jousting and other challenges for knights in shining armour during the Medieval Market of Caravaca
One of the biggest annual events in Caravaca de la Cruz is the early December medieval market, which is taking place this year from 5th to 8th December, with the highlight for many being the Grand Tourney in which knights in shining armour reenact duels and other challenges associated with the Middle Ages.
This year the event is being held at 17.00 on Sunday 7th December in the Plaza de Toros, and so popular is it that this is necessarily a paying event. Tickets are available at 5 euros + costs for adults (3 euros + costs for children) and can be purchased online here. Alternatively, any remaining tickets will go on sale on the day of the event at 6 euros (4 euros for children).
For more local events, news and visiting information contact the local tourist office (telephone 968 702424) or go to the home page of Caravaca Today.
