December 6 to 9 A family activity trying to take the castle of Lorca by force!
Dramatized tours of the Fortress of the Sun during Spain’s long December bank holiday weekend
Spain enjoys a long bank holiday weekend from December 6 to 9 and to coincide with the four days without school a dramatized event is being held at Lorca castle in which groups of children attempt to storm the fortress!
This is a chance for you and your family to become a part of history, attacking a castle which proved impregnable throughout the struggles between Moors and Christians during the Early Middle Ages. Fun and learning are both guaranteed as you enjoy the countryside and historical heritage of Lorca!
The activity takes place on December 6, 7, 8 and 9 at 11.45 and 13.15 and your booking includes the tour with an actor on the chemin de ronde and free entry to the “Torre Alfonsina” keep. Other areas of the castle are not necessarily included.
Prices are as follows:
Over 17s: 10.50 euros
5- to 16-year-olds: 8.50 euros, Amigo Lorca cardholders and others entitled to discounts.
Under 4s: free of charge.
Online bookings can be made here.
