December 28 New Year’s concert in Jumilla
The Asociación Musical Julián Santos at the Teatro Vico in Jumilla
Jumilla’s very own version of the famous New Year’s Concert which is held in Vienna, this event is presented by the local Julián Santos music society conducted by Salvador Pérez Sánchez and includes many of the best-known waltzes, polkas and marches by the Strauss family.
At the same time, the programme also includes other entertaining works by Pedro J. Fernández, Strauss, Offenbach, Rossini, Chabriel and Lumbye.
The concert on December 28 begins at 19.00 with tickets available at 8, 12 and 15 euros. Bookings can be made at the box office of the Teatro Vico (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 18.00 to 20.00 or in the two hours before the show), or through the tourist office of Jumilla (telephone 663 202822, email oficinaturismo@jumilla.org).
