Guidelines for submitting articles to San Javier Today
Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
December 25 and January 6 Lorca castle opens for Christmas and Three Kings Day
Give yourself a Christmas present with these guided tours of the Fortress of the Sun
Whether your main Christmas meal is dinner on Christas Eve or a long, late lunch on Christmas Day, why not either shake of the cobwebs or work up an appetite with these guided tours of Lorca castle, beginning at 11.30 at the entrance to the archaeological site of the medieval synagogue and lasting approximately 2 hours.
The tours include not only the synagogue, the only one of its kind to have been found in Spain, but also the keep of the Torre Alfonsina (the most important vantage point over the Guadalentín valley in the Middle Ages), the main water storage tank and other memorable historic sights.
Prices are as follows:
Over 17s: 15 euros
5- to 16-year-olds, Amigo Lorca cardholders and others entitled to discounts: 10 euros
Under 4s: free of charge.
