The classic tale with great music at the Teatro Romea in Murcia
Under the direction of Jesús Sanz-Sebastián, Candileja Producciones bring to Murcia over the Christmas period “La Bella y la Bestia", a musical for all the family and at the same time a story with a moral, namely that we should be tolerant of those who seem at first to be “dfferent”. As an example of this, the role of Belle is played by an actress and singer who is visually impaired – probably not what Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont expected when she first published the tale in 1756!
The 10 performances at the Teatro Romea in the heart of Murcia are taking place on 20th, 21st, 26th, 27th and 28th December, with a matinee at 17.00 and the evening show at 19.30. Tickets are priced between 10 and 17 euros and are available online here.
