December 19 to 23 Father Christmas comes to Caravaca!

Santa brings festive cheer to the centre of Caravaca de la Cruz

Christmas loyalties in Spain are still divided almost equally between Father Christmas and the Three Kings, but Santa has the distinct advantage in the minds of many children of being the first of the four to arrive, and this Christmas in Caravaca he will be setting up home in the central avenue of La Corredera between 19^th and 22^nd December.

The timetable during which he will be welcoming children to receive their present letters is 19th December 17.30 to 20.30, 20th and 21st December 11.00 to 13.30 and 17.30 to 20.30, 22nd December 17.30 to 20.30, and all this is in preparation for his major parade through the streets on Tuesday 23^rd December.

The parade begins at 18.30 in the Plaza del Arco and runs along Gran Vía, Maruja Garrido, La Corredera and back to his home, where he will be getting a good night’s sleep prior to his exertions the following evening!
