December 12 Screening of It’s a Wonderful Life in original language version in Los Alcázares
James Stewart stars in the Frank Capra classic at the Town Hall of Los Alcázares
The “Cineforum” series of four screenings of classic movies in the Salón de Plenos of the Town Hall of Los Alcázares, all of them in original language version, ends on Friday 12th December at 18.30 with It’s a Wonderful Life, starring James Stewart, Donna Reed, Lionel Barrymore, Thomas Mitchell and Henry Travers.
Directed by Frank Capra, the film was released in 1946 and initially met with mixed reviews. Now, however, it is regarded as the finest Christmas film ever made and is consistently named as one of the best American movies of all time.
This screening in Los Alcázares is organized by the Asociación Los Alcázaers Eco Cultural - LAEC and is followed by a short talk by cinema experts José María and Pencho.
