Dead body washes up on La Manga beach
The Guardia Civil is investigating whether he is a missing kitesurfer and whether his death is related to the storm
The body of a man was found this Wednesday afternoon, January 28, washed up on the shore of the Playa Chica beach in La Manga del Mar Menor, according to sources at the 112 Emergency Coordination Centre.
The Guardia Civil has taken charge of the investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident and determine whether the deceased could have been a man who had gone out kitesurfing on the Mar Menor and whose disappearance had previously been reported by his relatives.
