Caser Residencial Santo Ángel attends ADERMUR gala celebrating progress in dependency care
The annual event recognises individuals and organisations dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people in Murcia
Representatives from
Caser Residencial Santo Ángel recently attended the annual gala organised by ADERMUR, the Association of Directors and Managers of Social Services Centres in the Region of Murcia, the year’s major event for professionals working in the dependency care sector.
The gathering brought together colleagues, institutions and leading figures from across the region to reflect on the progress made in supporting elderly people and those living in situations of dependency.
“Our team from Caser Residencial Santo Ángel attended the annual
ADERMUR gala, a key event for the dependency sector in Murcia,” the organisation said.
ADERMUR works to promote the wellbeing of dependent persons in the Region of Murcia, focusing on improving the quality of care while also defending the interests of organisations and professionals dedicated to this work.
“It was an evening of reunions with colleagues, institutions and personalities from the sector, where we were able to celebrate the advances made in dependency care,” spokespeople from Caser Residencial Santo Ángel explained.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the ‘Bastón de Oro’ award, a recognition created in 2023 to honour individuals or organisations that contribute significantly to improving the lives of elderly people and those who require care and support.
This year’s award was presented to Rosa García Iniesta, president of
Astrapace, an association dedicated to supporting people with cerebral palsy and related conditions. Throughout her career she has worked to ensure that dependent persons have access to resources, training and opportunities for social, educational and labour integration.
“Our sincere congratulations to Rosa García Iniesta for receiving the ‘Bastón de Oro’ award, a recognition that inspires us to continue working for equal opportunities and social integration,” said the Caser Residencial team, who summed up the evening and their work with a simple but powerful message: “Together, we can achieve more.”
