Caser Residencial showcases innovation and care at Tecnosocial 2026
Residents and staff recently took part in a conference experience including virtual reality and other aspects of how technology is reshaping the social and care sector
Caser Residencial, the established elderly and social care company in Spain, played an active role at the
Tecnosocial 2026 Conference, held on March 19 and 20, 2026 at the University of Málaga, highlighting its commitment to innovation and person-centred care within the dependency sector.
The organisation was present throughout the event with its own stand, designed to showcase its range of services and strengthen brand awareness among professionals and attendees. The space provided an opportunity to connect with others in the sector while sharing
Caser Residencial’s technologically advanced approach to care.
As part of its participation, the team also presented a poster for the CaserContigo project, an initiative focused on innovation and improving care for people, which was displayed during the conference.
One of the most notable aspects of Caser Residencial’s involvement was the direct participation of its residents.
“As part of the centre’s participation, we also organised transport by coach for several of our residents so they could attend the event and experience it first-hand,” said a representative from Caser Residencial, adding that they had also conducted a “live demonstration with one of our residents using virtual reality glasses”
“This sparked great interest among attendees and allowed us to demonstrate in a practical way the impact of this type of technology on the wellbeing and stimulation of older people.”
The initiative illustrated how tools such as virtual reality can enhance quality of life in care settings, opening up new possibilities for engagement, memory stimulation and immersive experiences.
Through its presence at Tecnosocial 2026, Caser Residencial reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to combine technological innovation with compassionate, human-centred care, all the while ensuring that residents and end users themselves remain at the heart of these advances.
