San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
August 12 Tres Tristes Trolls: free dance and circus show in La Manga del Mar Menor
The Lanördika company perform at the Puerto Tomás Maestre in La Manga
The 55th annual Festival of Theatre, Dance and Music in San Javier continues on Tuesday 12th August with a free performance by Lanördika of “Tres Tristes Trolls”, in which they blend humour and tenderness with the bright spectacle of dance and the circus.
The performance begins at 22.00 in the Puerto Tomás Maestre in La Manga del Mar Menor, with admission free of charge.
The three performers are Darío Dumont, Emilio Arquillo and Paco Caravaca, who continue the work of Lanördika which began in 2017 under the leadership of Darío Dumont and Greta García with the show “Rojo Estándar”, That spectacle has now been performed over 300 times and has received various awards, including the Lorca Prize for best street entertainment in 2018.
