August 1 Summer Carnival parade in Águilas
A night of fun, music, colour and dancing in the Bay of Levante in Águilas
Every summer one of the best attended events in Águilas is the annual Summer Carnival parade, which while not reaching the scale of the celebrations which take place in February and March, is a festival of music, colour, dancing, noise and fun.
This year the parade begins at 21.30 on Saturday 1st August in the Bay of Levante, running from the Club Náutico to the Ícaro statue which is a monument to Carnival.
In order to make it possible for as many people as possible to attend, the Águilas Plaza shopping mall has once again offered free parking in its car parks for both events, with the doors remaining open and the barriers raised until 3.00.
