A musical trip back in time as the month of August begins in Los Alcázares
The summer entertainment schedule in Los Alcázares continues on 1st August with Barco a la Luna, a tribute to the 80s and 90s Spanish pop megastars Mecano.
You may not have heard of Mecano, but it’s almost impossible not to be impressed by the clean, catchy melodies which took them to the top of the charts a little over 30 years ago, and their album Descanso Dominical remains a pop masterpiece.
The event at the fairground alongside the Polideportivo Municipal (click for map) begins at 21.00 with a warm-up session featuring other pop music from the same era and tickets, priced at just 10 euros, are available online here.
Food trucks will be open at the venue.
