April 26 Military and security forces dragon boat racing in Santiago de la Ribera
Nine boats join battle on the water of the Mar Menor!
The 2nd Armed Forces and Security Forces Interdragon race is being held on 26th April in the Mar Menor off the seafront walks of Colón, Atalayón and Castillitos, with the main event
Nine boats are taking part, representing the army, air force, Guardia Civil, Policía Nacional, local police forces, fire brigade and emergency services, with the main event taking place at Playa Barnuevo on Sunday 26th April between 9.00 and 13.00. Last year the winners were a team from the Air Force officer training academy in San Javier.
