April 24 Latido y Tañido flamenco-inspired dance show at the seafront auditorium in Águilas
The Alejandro Lara Danza Project at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas
Latido y Tañido is the third show produced by the Alejandro Lara Dance Project, which focuses on Spanish and flamenco dance, and is performed on stage by 8 artists with live music in the Spanish classical style as well as more modern sounds.
The idea behind the work is the relationship between the beating of the heart and the rhythm of stringed instruments as a metaphor for our emotions. This is explored through dance and the rhythms of castanets and the stamping heels characteristic of the flamenco style.
The performance at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas begins at 20.00 with tickets priced at 20 euros and available online here, in person at the Casa de la Cultura and the Museo Arqueológico, or from 19.00 on the day of the show at the box office of the auditorium.
For more local events, news and visiting information, contact the tourist office of Águilas (telephone 968 493285) or go to the home page of Águilas Today.
