April 2 to 5 Spanish Cup sailing competition at the Yacht Club of Los Nietos
88 craft compete in the Mar Menor with World Championship places at stake
The municipality of Cartagena is proud to welcome the Spanish Cup competition in the Snipe sailing class between Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday, when more than 80 yachts will be racing in the Mar Menor during an event based at the Club Náutico de Los Nietos.
The results of this event are taken into account when selecting the Spanish team for the World Snip Class Championships in September of this year at the Club Náutico de Mahón in Menorca.
It’s bound to be a busy few days of racing, with 176 crew manning the 88 boats registered, bringing a sporting spectacle to the Mar Menor coastline of Los Nietos over the long weekend of Easter!
