On Sunday April 13, the Mar Menor will host an exciting 12k Sea to Mountains walk, specifically designed for younger people aged 18 to 35. This unique trail will take you on a journey from the stunning Mar Menor coastline to the majestic Cabezo Gordo mountains, offering breathtaking views and an unforgettable experience.
The 12km trail begins at the Explanada de Barnuevo in Santiago de la Ribera and winds its way up to Cabezo Gordo
The event will run between 9am and 1pm and there’s no need to worry about the return journey, as a bus will be waiting to take you back to the starting pointThe Mar Menor 12k Sea to Mountains walk is part of the ‘Activate Your Leisure’ initiative, aimed at encouraging young people to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.
Registration for the event is now open and can be done through the San Javier Activa App.
