Andalucía weekend weather forecast April 23-26: Hot inland, cloudy spells and coastal breezes
Very warm temperatures inland, with a few showers and stronger winds at the coast
After a very warm few days, Andalucía heads into the new period with more cloud, a few showers and still very high temperatures inland, while coastal areas turn a little less intense. Seville and much of the Guadalquivir Valley are set to stay well into the 30s°C at times, with the east remaining the most unsettled part of the region.Thursday April 23
Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday April 23Thursday starts with partly cloudy skies and some mid and high cloud, plus a chance of light rain in the west and over the mountains elsewhere. Dust in suspension may also linger in places, adding a hazy feel to the day. Temperatures dip on the Atlantic side overnight but hold up or rise elsewhere, while daytime highs ease a little along the Mediterranean coast and stay steady or edge up in other areas. Winds are light and variable for most places, but they turn easterly across the eastern half and the Strait, becoming moderate to strong in Almería, where very strong gusts are possible along the coast and a yellow warning is in force.

Andalucía weather forecast, Friday April 24Friday turns more unsettled, with cloudy skies and light to moderate rain, some of it thundery in the eastern half. In the afternoon, the Sierra Morena could see locally heavy and persistent rain, while the coast of Almería remains under a wind warning. Temperatures fall, especially in the east, although Seville still stays warm at 26°C, with Córdoba and Granada with similar temperatures. Winds are light and variable, so the main change will be the cloud and rain rather than any big increase in wind speed inland.
Saturday April 25
Andalucía weather forecast, Saturday April 25Saturday keeps the cloud cover in place, with locally moderate showers and a few thunderstorms in the west. Temperatures dip again, particularly for daytime highs along the Mediterranean coast, around Málaga, though the western third should see a slight rise. Light and variable winds continue, making it feel calmer than earlier in the week, despite the occasional shower affecting Huelva and nearby areas.

Andalucía weather forecast, Sunday April 26Sunday brings a mix of cloud and scattered showers, but there should also be some brighter spells as the day goes on. Minimum temperatures change very little, while daytime values rise, giving a more comfortable feel than Saturday. Winds remain light and variable overall, though easterlies strengthen a little along the Mediterranean coast and in the Strait, where Tarifa and Cádiz could notice the breeze picking up again.
The weekend looks set to stay changeable, with the east and the coasts most likely to see the odd shower or gusty spell.
