Hello, and thank you for choosing sanjavier.today to publicise your organisation’s info or event.
San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

Rain this morning and Thursday with sunshine on Tuesday and Wednesday morning
A cloudy afternoon today
The week got off to a soggy start in Alicante province but Monday’s grey skies should give way to clearer weather from Tuesday until later on Wednesday, when rain is forecast to spread southwards, according to state meteorological agency Aemet.
Thursday is looking wet all day and the rain may well continue through the weekend, if current models remain accurate.

Cooler temperatures today
After a wetter than expected night, the sky is still looking cloudy but will start to clear towards the end of the day.
Some more light rain is probable in the morning but the afternoon should be dry.
There was not much change in the minimum temperatures and maximums have dropped.
The light, variable wind this morning will become more southerly in the middle of the day on the coast and easterly in the interior.

Tuesday, October 7
Clear skies at midday on Tuesday
Just a few clouds on Tuesday, when minimum temperatures are set to drop in the southern half of the province and only change slightly elsewhere.
Maximum temperatures should rise in general.
Light, variable winds in the morning with coastal breezes coming in from the middle of the day.

Wednesday, October 8
Clouds and some rain coming in the late afternoon
Just a few clouds in the morning, followed by cloudy intervals and then scattered showers and possible storms in the northern half of the province later in the afternoon, where there is a yellow warning from 8pm.
Minimum temperatures are expected to rise slightly in some areas, while maximums remain mostly unchanged.
Light, southerly wind in the morning, switching to northerly in the late afternoon.

Thursday, October 9
A wet start to Thursday with storms in the south
The cloud and rain is predicted to move south across the province overnight, covering everywhere by the morning, when the precipitation could get quite heavy.
Storms are also forecast in the south in the morning.
The rain is expected to persist through the afternoon and into the evening, when the cloudiness may reduce to intervals over the coast.
Very little change in minimum temperatures but maximums are set to drop.
Winds are likely to be light and northerly in the north, moderate and easterly in the south.
