86-year-old Brit found dead at home in Teulada, Alicante
The man’s relatives raised the alarm when they were unable to contact him
An 86-year-old British man was found dead in his flat in the centre of the town of Teulada, Alicante province, this Monday afternoon, February 9.His relatives and acquaintances had been unable to contact him at his home, located on the corner of Calle Canonge Valés and Calle Mestre Mulet Borrell, and so phoned the emergency services. Firefighters broke into the flat through a window and discovered him dead.
It is not known whether he suffered an accident at home or died of natural causes.
Teulada, a town in the Marina Alta comarca of Alicante with a population of nearly 13,000 at the last census, is made up of more than 50% foreigners, more than 2,000 of whom are British.
