The new signs have just gone up at the green waste area on B Sector, stating that fly tippers will face sanctions of up to €12,000 if caught

€12,000 fines for illegal dumping on Camposol
As work is underway to clear the garden waste (mixed with furniture, building rubble and plastic bags) on the B Sector car park of Camposol, signs have been erected at the entrance to the car park.

One sign warns in five languages – Spanish, English, French, German and Dutch – that the dumping of garden and building waste and furniture is prohibited. As the dumping of these materials comes under fly tipping laws, the sign informs that fines between €6,001 and €12,000 can be imposed. The sign also warns that the area is under video surveillance which is live.
