San Javier Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on San Javier Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb

November 13 The Youth Orchestra of Costa Rica in Lorca
Central American and music and universal classics at the Auditorio Margarita Lozano in Lorca
The Youth Orchestra of Costa Rica is currently touring Europe for the first time in 20 years and is playing a series of concerts in cities such as Madrid, Sevilla and Toledo as well as this one on Thursday 13th November at the Auditorio Margarita Lozano in Lorca (open on weekday mornings from 11.00 to 14.00 and from Monday to Thursday 18.00 to 20.00).
The 79 members of the orchestra are following a great tradition which has seen the ensemble play at prestigious venues in countries such as USA, Italy and throughout central America, and on this occasion will be conducted by Andrés Salado. The programme will include music representing their homeland as well as universal classics such as Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky.
